What happens if an item from my order is out of stock?Updated 2 months ago

At Miniml, we manufacture all our products in-house, which means stock levels can fluctuate quickly. If an item from your wholesale order goes out of stock after you've placed your order, here’s how we handle it:

1. Stock Assessment 

  • Our team assess orders everyday and whether the product will be back in stock within the expected lead time. 
  • If it is expected to be restocked within this timeframe, we will hold your order and ship it in full once the product is available.

2. Contact & Shipping Options

  • If the item will take longer than expect lead time to restock, we will reach out to you with the following options:
    • Ship the rest of your order immediately and send the out-of-stock item separately when it becomes available.
    • Offer an alternative product as a replacement.

3. Backorders for Van Route Deliveries

  • If your order is scheduled for delivery on our van route, the out-of-stock product will be automatically back-ordered.
  • It will either be:
    • Dispatched via courier once it is back in stock.
    • Delivered with your next Miniml van order.
